Of course, Witch Doctor could be a motorcycle mechanic wanting to keep scarced people like me paying $50 per hour for them to work on our bikes.
Remember that backfires are 'normal' with the Savage and I know my bike backfires less than it did when I first bought it. Maybe it has been the summer heat and it will increase again. I don't know. I'm assuming that it improved with break-in.
Anyway, like I mentioned in the thread about 'extended warranty', I just don't want Suzuki to have an excuse not to cover me under warranty this first year.
Anyway, if and when you do the modification, make sure you let us know how it improves performance.
